Words they Change us
Tolstoy’s and Stegner's epigraphs hold powerful meanings. To me they both boil down to becoming free. I agree that that one should strive to free themselves and live for them however I believe that a person should not cast away the world around them to do so. We need to be bound to something because being completely free is not as glorious as some might think really it would be quite lonely. McCandless probably thought that these words meant that one should free himself from all things before he can be happy, however by cutting all ties to the world he learned what all humans should learn and that is; we need some bonds in order to survive.
Are you me or Am I you
Hello world name Black Sheep. I have been living as nomad for some time. I have learned many usefull skills by working at different jobs across America. Sometimes I have trouble finding a place to safely rest my head however I am as free humanly possible.
Transending Time ans Space
As a Nash I am plauged with alot of different family, medical and spiritual issue. all of these issuses used to way on me and some still do however thanks to nature I am still sane. When I am in outside I feel at peace. I have taken up meditation which allows me to become more intune with myself and the world around me. I believe that one must understand their surrondings in order to under stand them selve, so people need to take the time to study nature and appreiate it. For me nature allows me to quiet the storm in my heart and I am sure that nature can do the same for others.

What fool but a man with a new idea?
He was not a fool in my eyes. He was an honorable man just his way of living did just did not mingle with the life. No i do not feel as though my view will change.
What a man wants What a man needs
I know I am re posting but I just had a conversation about materialism but before I get into this let me state my opinion. I believe that humans are meant be good stewards over the Earth. A good steward not only care about his need but also the needs of others. A man only need, so much land. He need land for him and his family to live and maybe for his businesses however he should not impose to much on his neighbors human or otherwise.
